Hello and thanks for taking the time to check out my work. I'm Myles Havinga, a printmaker mostly working in lino relief printing from my home studio in Lethbridge, Alberta.
My interest in printmaking began over a decade ago at Medicine Hat College and has developed over the last 12 years. My current inspiration lies in the unique Southern Alberta landscape. I focus on capturing the subtle dramatic environments—from the steep lines of the river valley coulees to the ever-changing, atmospheric colours of the prairie sky. Each print is a deliberate attempt to freeze the fleeting moments found in nature. Ultimately, I hope my work can create a deeply personal response as you connect with those frozen moments of time and place.
